Get rid of NSD

Make contract offers good for 24 hours and once signed it is binding.
That way when a player commits they are bound. If they want real world money and programs to commit 100k plus, then they should learn how to fulfill commitments.
If they want out, they have to prove the school has broke contract or face breach of contract.

Hopefully that happens one day

I agree. No reason to keep NSD.

They could also require Buyout clauses…if transferring the other University is required to pay buyout.

If a kid wants to do a press conference to leverage our brand. Sign the damn contract.
Hell, I’d only let a kid under contract wear our uniform. Our brand should only be leveraged by those part of it.

agreed - I feel like they'll eventually be more like employment contracts vs national letters of intent

It’s an easy fix that would take away some of this bs.

NIL contracts are mostly done by the month & must be renewed by both parties monthly. Buyouts aren't necessary. These contracts are not put together like coaching or professional contracts.

They should be and I expect they will be in time. Just like NFL or MLB contracts, we need to make them at minimum two years and include performance bonuses.
Have opt outs only to enter the draft.

Or - we start totally ignoring commitments. You don't get an ounce of excitement out of me until you're on the field in P&G. Hayes Fawcett is drawing up 10 more "flip announcements" as we fricking speak. The commitments are meaningless and shouldn't be paid as much attention to as we used to now that the billionaires can come buy all of our "committed" recruits.

Dumb and stupid idea. You act like these high school kids are the problem. It’s the obsessive fans, alumni and boosters who want to “win “ . Blame them for turning college sports into Las Vegas. That’s where the restrictions should be placed

Another poster wanting to change the rules because LSU isn’t competing well. Sigh.

NIL deals cannot include performance bonuses. Many are clueless on the dynamics & language of NIL deals.

The idiot doesn't even know what he's talking about yet wants change.

No where in the real world does exchange of money happen like this. Gotta fix it.

You are a prude. There are solutions which is why I want to change it.

You want change yet don't even know the dynamics of the subject that you want to change so that makes you sound dumb. You don't even realize that state laws prevent performance clauses in NIL deals & that NIL deals must be reviewed & approved by university NIL departments to make sure no such language is in any contracts.

Bruh, this isn’t hard…but I’ll be sure to check with you to make sure you sign off on any ideas.
Go fly a kite.

If things don't change, college football is going to implode. The sport is being ruined before our very eyes.

It's more complex than you think but your simple minded brain won't allow you to understand that.
