Rivals has him rated as a 4 star either way it's a good pickup..

He's a very good prospect, but he is going to need a redshirt year if he wants to play on the offensive side of the ball in order to put on weight and get stronger. He has a great frame at 6'6 and looks to have good reach, but he needs to get some weight on him. Excited about his future in purple and gold. I'm actually kind of glad he's coming in around 260. Seems like many of the top drafted OL come into college underweight, and then add good weight at a controlled pace, which allows them to maintain their athleticism and quickness. This IMO is much better than coming in fat and slow, having to lose bad weight, and then begin to put the good weight back on.
