Late to the opinion party but if we get Herron that is fine although I always had hopes of landing bigger fish. If he commits to MSU then I think that might be good news.
From the outside looking in it could be that LSU has good feelings about a couple of other DE's. Nkemdiche possibly!
I don't know what to make of the Nkemdiche situation. I have heard nothing from RN or his family that indicatates LSU is out of it or that Bama is a lock. But virtually everyone says that he isn't coming here but offer no evidence. I can only suspect that insiders know he is a silent to Bama or people on this board have an inferiority complex.

I think that Nkemdiche is a possibility, just not a probability. I have heard that his Dad really likes LSU, but I haven't seen anything to really validate that. I would love to land him, and we have a very good opportunity here for him.

Regarding Beckwith, I watched some of his highlights immediately after Melvin Jones', and while they are both good prospects I think the staff was right to prioritize Beckwith. We need him to be in this class.
I think Herron is a good prospect, but not a great one. Like I mentioned earlier, I wouldn't be that upset to see him go to MSU.
