I fret about the possibility of a couple of things going wrong (like losing to Arkansas), and one of our 5* recruits saying, "I'll show you people for gettin' cocky."

A handful of LSU fans know where they're going. But outside of people who really follow recruitng most people just see what espn reports and takes that as gospel. I think i rember an espn article having foutnette to bama and an article about speedy's lack of interest in LSU

Ha, you know what is funny. The recruits don't want people to know where they will go.
That is fine and as it should be so don't misunderstand. But lets say someone spills the beans and lets it out now where someone that is playing in the UA game is going to choose. The recruit gets a bit pissed.
Then he makes his as expected announcement at the game and 99% of the people didn't know his name before the game much less insider info on where he was going.
People that follow recruiting are only a small percentage of any fanbase.
