Maybe finebomb can not understand that there is no more B.Bryant and 165 scholarships. LSU with J.Jefferson at QB last year would have beat ala. 50-20. It is very important in 2009 for J.Jefferson to not run and maybe get hurt, play smart like S. Bradford and he may be the next Heisman, he has that kind of ability.

I think the entire post is wrapped up in the first few words... quote, " Finescum is expecting... " ... that is it... Finescum, the bama *itch that he is, is expecting... and I am sure it will just be another little bama **** ...

It's amazing how many "heisman" canidates we have on the roster "next year", almost every single year, but yet no winners.

He is down on LSU at lot because the majority of his audience (Bama fans) like to hear how LSU will suck post-Saban.
I rarely listen to his show but every time I do it occurs to me that he probably doesn't believe half of the things that he says, he just says them because they are good for his show.
Hell, you can't blame him - that one little segment of his show just got a 3 page thread dedicated to it on TD.com

While Miles was at OSU, it wasn't uncommon for him to snatch 4/5* kids who were being recruited by UT or OU. So I can understand Finebaum's skepticism

I don't think anyone cares if he hates us or loves us. I'm just curious as to where his obsession stems from. He spends as much time bashing LSU as he does praising Bama. Why?

Agreed. Who cares. This guy is all about ratings. The same Bama fans that hold his jock now are the ones that hated him a few years ago. Still, many Bama fans hate him for the hack writer he is. -- He's only recently jumped on the Bama bandwagon. He used to trash that program everyday. It's all about the ratings folks. Auburn and Bama hate us = good ratings for the child molester.

I'm not sure if I care that he hates LSU...I suspect that I hate stupid people and he falls under that banner so some of the sh*t he says can be a bit irritating.
For instance, it doesn't bother me that he her personally insults the state or Les Miles. The guys needs ratings. But to be "surprised" that LSU is doing so well in recruiting demonstrates a general lack of knowledge about the SEC and college football in general. And I think it's fine to call him out on it.

not sure he was run out of Shreveport, he probably quickly figured out that being sportswriter for the Shreveport Journal was getting him nowhere fast. Probably had greater aspirations than being the next Jerry Byrd.
