Son of a *#%*!

Don't know if he will qualify anyways. Really hope we can snag Noah Cain, but Tom Herman is going to be tough to beat.

Things may change if Guice has a huge year in Canada's offense and O racks up at least 9 or 10 wins.

Great RB prospect, but I hate chancing it with academic risks, especially at a position of current need. It seems like these guys rarely make it on the field at LSU. I think we will flip a bigtime back in the winter.

Great pickup for Moo State. If he can get qualified and stay on campus, both he and Keytaon Thompson in that backfield in a few years?? Holy... Very good job recruiting by Dan over at Moo State and with Ole Piss hitting the curb things will only look better.

I don't have any hate for Miss St. Wish we could have gotten him; he was the best back I saw on film in this class. Wanted him bad.

I agree and then we will also have time to see who's really who once their senior years are completed. Someone will surely emerge as the season progresses.

I went back and looked at Etlings good games if he truly was hurt and progresses this year he really could be a very good QB for us in this system. His arm is better than Pitts QB last year, and his footwork in the pocket is probably the best in the SEC. He has decent mobility so if he progresses some with his passing especially accuracy on deep balls and short passes we will have a great year.

I think our backfield will be deeper than people realize. Idk if the FB Tory Carter will RS or not but he could play a key roll in this offense himself. He has all the tools you want for an Hback IMO. Really anxious to see what all Canada does with who in his offense. It's going to be very difficult for the first 5 opponents to deal with IMO. We could possibly get through the season without anyone really catching on.

Tired of hearing this s*** honestly. We're losing players to teams with much worse records and worse offenses (chase). I'm all for optimism but I wanted O in the fall because of his recruiting experience....playing come from behind for this many major recruits isn't what people expected.

add: I don't want to hear about the kid being from MS and how hard it is to pull a kid away from home, seems pretty damn easy to do in Louisiana.

Tough to lose him when we didn't offer. He is a known risk to not qualify; the staff may just be avoiding because of that. He took a substantial hit in the recruiting rankings recently, wonder if something is up?

we spent recruiting funds on an in home not too long ago. The kid wasn't coming here, according to multiple reports he listed LSU as his #1, if grades were an issue he'd just hold off on committing until he had an idea where he stood academically. He didn't choose State because he didn't have an offer from LSU, that's where he wanted to go.

OR...He commited to MSU because he wants to hold his spot.

AND...He took the ACT at the end of June. He should have had his results by now. Chances are he didn't improve his score enough to get an offer.

Do you want O to be a coach who gets commitments or the coach who gets signatures? Because this thing is far from over and he has proved in the past that he is one of if not the best closer in the country. The man knows how and when to turn up the heat. Maybe he feels like turning up the heat now isn't the best move. Save some ammo for when we have real momemtum and LSU has a nice record, film, proof to these recruits and their parents that this staff is truly the real deal.

Plus we are still recruiting at a high level. We simply have to close at an even higher level with the rest of the class for it to really be considered an elite class. I think that's what people will see in the end. Patience grasshoper patience. It's all about the end game not the mid game. Hell we aren't even at the mid game yet. HTT

Dude. LSU invited him to camp and he didn't come. LSU coaches went to his school and he wouldn't work out in front of them. He's a grade risk. The coaches have several other running rated higher. If LSU really wanted him they probably would have offered him a scholarship.

We stopped recruiting him for good in June.He felt disrespected for whatever reason and just stopped showing interest when we tried to keep showing him some.

Kid has All-SEC type of skills but he is going to have to work is butt off this year to be able to make his grades .It can be done but I have no faith in Hattiesburg HS having the things in place that he will need to make it.He needed to understand we can't be taking a grade risk at RB.

Either way LSU and Franklin have been done for going on two months now.

If O starts winning games this year and shows an improved O....just watch the talent flock in. Recruits are sitting on the fence right now seeing how we do this year, expecting more than that at this moment in recruiting is far fetched.

I wasn't going to say that. I've never said that. I was going to say that it's only July.
