I feel pretty confident with Herron as well. Need to lock up him, Pagano, Gilmore, Williams, and Prevot and I'll be .

And I haven't forgotten about RN just not confident.

I think this guy's a solid commitment. His film, which I admit I just watched today for the first time, is really fun to watch. The guy is larger than his competition but he still takes the blocks seriously and finishes. Just fun.

Also, the midwestern kids are generally solid people. Not flashy or flighty. (The recent QB was unusual, in my experience.) I think this kid is solid in that he sees that he is good enough to go off and make something of himself. LSU has a pre-professional program for football and academics which are strong enough to be competitive. He will be a solid performer while he is here and will move on to bigger things when he leaves.

For him to tweet Rettig, our future QB must have been putting in some work this weekend.

Wow I got in on this late. Great job by Stud and CLM, This is a HUGE get for us. He seems like a good kid. I think he will stick by his commitment.

So where are all the posters who said the MNC would hurt the program?

Did you notice the way we finished last year's recruiting class? Seems to me those posters were proved right. It doesn't mean the program is ruined for all time, but we definitely took a recruiting hit.

His highschool coach said that he's never had a kid of his who committed to one school change that committment. He also said that Pocic has little to no baby fat on him & that with his body frame he can add on a lot more weight. The school is also 6A, so presumably he's played against the big boys up there. A final comment was that he wants to play for the NC every yr, graduate & go to the NFL and LSU/SEC gives him that chance.

His interview was great. One and two word answers. When asked about distance to Baton Rouge he said it doesn't matter, it's only 1 1/2 hour flight.

His coach said yesterday that his brother is the Center at Illinois and is 6'7 as well.

Les is building a stable of horses for Fournette to run behind in a couple of years. I'm not sure about the batting order, but Collins, Alexander, Pocic, etc. have the potential to be punshing run blockers...even in the SEC.
