7. Colin Hurley – 4-star LSU commit
Similar to Dylan Raiola, Colin Hurley showed easy arm strength. Hurley is a powerful, compactly built passer and uses his strong base and loose arm to drive the ball with no strain. The LSU pledge was a Top Performer on each day of the event for On3. He flashed the pure arm talent to make all of the throws to every level of the field. We thought he got progressively better over the course of the week, as well. Hurley built on a good pro day session on Day 2 with one of the better 7-on-7 showings. He completed 13 of 17 passes for 4 touchdowns, taking advantage of a few busted coverages in the secondary. Hurley plays with a deliberate, unbothered pace that may seem a bit slow at times. He’ll need to continue improving his footwork and overall movement skills as he progresses into his senior season, but the arm talent is not in question.

Anyone else get a kick out of watching all the trouble UF is having at getting a QB and then seeing their priced commit stink up the Elite 11?

Weird that no one took any any sacks except for the ND commit with 3

We love dudes with arm talent. And I love it. Let Nuss Bus and Hurley chuck it all over

Always I wish nothing but the worst for Sunbelt Billy, I remember when he first got there and thought he was going to mop up La in recruiting. It was a thought by many he had an advantage over CBK because he wasn’t the right FIT down here. I knew Billy should’ve been worried about recruiting Florida instead of La. Now it’s come full circle
CBK 1-0 vs Sunbelt Billy
CBK SEC W Champs
Billy LOSING season
CBK bowl game 63-7
Sunbelt Billy blowed out
Final assessment
LSU - CBK Winner
Florida- SB Loser

We're not Ole Piss. We don't claim "SEC W Champs" ever. It was impressive to get to the SEC championship game in our first season ever with BK but SEC W Champs sounds like some moral victory for a team like Ole Piss or TAMU.

They are going to have a terrible season this year as well. In all honesty, this is going to be a 4 year rebuild, at least. I love Lagway despite the Elite 11 numbers because I've watched this guy beyond the Elite 11. I remember watching Caleb Williams and thinking how insane he was and was pissed when we lost our chance at him. Same with Lagway, but Hurley changed that for me.
I don't expect Lagway to stick around unless there is a lot of money involved.

Lagway tries to make every throw look Mahomes-ish. Instead of standing and throwing with proper mechanics, everything is off platform. He is very good off platform but when there is no reason for it, it is suboptimal compared to just throwing with standard mechanics.

If you don't throw within 4 seconds it's a sack.

Wouldn't shock me if Lagway flips to A$M at some point
