Yes under my calculations I came to the same conclusion

Yeah and about 3 of those 8 games he played maybe 2 series. Clyde is a great running back, don't get caught up in stats his senior year y'all. Go watch his highlights from the dome against legit D1 players at Rummel and let me know what y'all think.

These are 2 very good running backs that happen to be stuck behind 2 all-world backs.

Both guys are well above SEC average

yes every time I start thinking that we should have offered Etienne over Helaire (if it was either or). I remember watching that game on TV and Helaire looked like the best player on the field. Didn;t know much about him but thought right then that LSU needed to offer this guy Helaire. He looked like the real deal to me. I hope we wind up with all three of Helaire, Etienne, and Akers. Lot of backs in one class but all are to good to pass up. Get all three and sort it out later.

Got to see Edwards-Helaire play a couple times over the past couple of years. He has great vision and hands with the speed to make someone pay he should get free (4.37 forty).

He's pretty versatile (see Highlights vs Mckinely) so I'm sure Canada can find a use for him.

If Helaire runs a "4.37" then Etienne must run a 4.00 because in this photo he handled Helaire by 4 yards and by Akers 2+. In a 40 that's an eternity.

Hudl has 4.37, Espn has 4.47 for Edwards-Helaire, and a 4.43 for Etienne

Yes. Etienne in the middle with the olive shorts and white tights, Helaire in the back with the white shorts and Akers on the right in the black and neon shorts. Guy on the far left in the white tights is Toniel Carter. There is video somewhere I'll see if I can find it.

very informative photos. A picture is worth a thousand words. Didn't realize that Helaire was such a tree trunk and Akers is pretty stout as well.
