UGA needs to have some sort of competition in the East. Pruitt needs to awaken that sleeping giant pronto to knock Kirby down a few pegs. Sheesh.

It will have to be Florida. I like playing Florida when they're good. That game is one of my favorites every year. Tennessee is a decade away from not being a giant pile of shite.

The game with Florida has been good for what, the last 5 years?
They are an admirable rival. We have beat the DAWG shite out of UGA the last two times we played them. They are all bark and no bite.

A really strong UT is the best thing for LSU. They play Bama and UGA each year and recruit against them a lot more than they recruit against us.

I get that UT is the answer but that isn't happening anytime soon. It will have to be Florida. They can pretty much be a juggernaut if Mullen just finds the right QB.

I would not count Pruitt out. They turned it around this year and he's recruiting just fine. I bet next year UT makes a lot of improvement and their recruiting gets back in the to 10 each year.
Right now Florida is at 8 and UT at 14 in composite rankings. Last year it was 9 and 13. They are closer in talent than people realize. It will be a good battle between them going forward.
This past season, 247 did a composite roster talent ranking. Florida was 15th and UT was 16th.

Actually, Tennessee being better would be MUCH more effective for LSU than Florida.
