So in looking back at this, I am confused. You self describe as a Miss State fan. So exactly who is "we" in your post?
Are you saying Miss State can do better than a top 200 national player, top ten La player?
It would be kind of a moot point, its not like Miss State gets many top ten players from La.
Its also kind of hard to debate a declarative statement like yours, unsupported by facts or reasoning.
Whether "we" means State or LSU is all the same to me, both would be wrong. Burns is a take for just about any school.

I just watched Major's film for the first time. I haven't seen a safety with the kind of instincts he has since the Honey Badger. He is definitely a take in this class. Great acceleration, good top end speed, hits hard and his IQ is way up there.

Will LSU only take 2 S in this class now that we know K. Joseph is returning and M. Hampton is BR bound (not mlb)? I’ve seen 2-3 as the # for the 2020 class previously.

I’m good friends and former colleagues with his HS coach. We were texting about him yesterday. He has been really high on this kid for a couple years and this guy coached both Brandon Bolden and Tim Williams. I’d always ask him about Joel Williams and he’d be quick to bring up Major Burns...not saying he’s not high on Joel, but he is really high on Burns.
