I’ll get downvoted for saying this but we can do so much better this year than major burns

Rankings wise I agree but I see major being one of those instate guys we’ve had in the past that blows up in college

I think Burns is supposed to get a rating bump this next to around.

I was thinking the same thing but he’s starting to grow on me lately. He reminds me of Greedy with his size.

Burns is a four star player, a top ten La player, and a top 200 player in the country. He’s already highly rated. And he has an impressive offer list. He is also a safety, a position of need.

How is he not a take?

Burns has been a riser and will continue to be they also like him as a CB so they will still want 2 safeties

LSU prefers him at CB over Safety. I do too.

I remember seeing a video of him at some camp doing one on ones straight up BULLYING some kid and letting him know about it afterwards. That’s the kind of mentality LSU needs and has when they’re good. Straight up dog. Sign him up

Boundary corner, he's 6-2 and excels at press man. Lorando Johnson is being recruited as that utility DB that can play nickel.

Also he has been invited to both the Opening finals and rivals 5-star challenge. After those camps rivals will update their rankings and he will be bumped up most likely as a top 150 player and top 5/6 in state.

Star gazers.

He’s the corner paired with Ricks that the coaches are targeting.

Staff’s track record of evaluating db’s is as good as it gets.

They already have that in Lorando Johnson. I don’t think they’re looking to land two nickels.

Serious question. What makes you think this? Seems like a versatile player with length. I agree with previous posters preference at corner over safety but I do like the option as well as his temperament. It doesn’t seem smart to turn away top 200 home grown guys.

You can never have enough guys that can cover in today’s world of college football. This guy gives you versatility and is long enough to play tall receivers. If Corey Raymond and Bill Busch want him, that’s all you need to know.
