Dude, just be DAMN thankful that TJ was able to come in here and sign someone this year that has played high school basketball and played it well.
Save all of the deep critiques and let him at least finish 1 year at LSU and figure out where the cities/recruits are located.

i dont think we got him to be the next tasmin mitchell...you need role players, and yes, sometimes it takes a scholarship to get a role player.
i heard an interview with coach johnson and he said the same thing. he offered this kid strictly for some bench help.

I don't think anyone is doubting TJ at this point in any aspect of the game. You can see his recruiting prowess in the quotes from different prospects on the board. Everyone that talks about him talks about trust, character, stability. He's going to get it done here, they no doubt hired the best guy for the job.
When you factor in the timing of when he got the job and when he was able to hit the recruiting trail, the class of '09 will be solid (especially if they sign a post player). I've got a feeling the 2010 class can be special though if everything falls into place.

I dig the signing. When Trent Johnson does start to sign athletic LA recruits - he will need someone to demonstrate proper technique, cheer on his teammates, and model the craft of studying.

As well as Langston Galloway and Brian Williams. The 4 of them have all played AAU ball together and Ludwig is already in their ears about coming to LSU.
