What do you mean that was one of the main problems with what signing day had become, you had low rated 4 star and even 3 star prospects dragging out life changing decisions because the show was so grand. This was a win-win for both schools and recruits IMO.

I'd much rather the one day is all I'm saying. Taking off of work, sitting on the recruiting board all day, staying home watching ESPN coverage, going to the Bash, etc etc. That enjoyable aspect of it was gone this year. To be fair, as this new concept is tinkered with I would expect some of that to come back.

Id also say your response is kind of silly. "Life changing decision." That's not something I would make on a whim, I don't mind them dragging it out. After all, it's not some small choice.

Wasn’t my post, but I thought it was pretty straight forward. Several of the guys that committed, then later decommitted from LSU have moved on, as well as any with grade doubts.

No reason for early signing period to last 3 days. Consolidate into 1.

I'd change having a kicker NOT count against the class if I could. Glad to have him but that sucks including him in the count.

Most are recruited for years, hardly a whim, I also no has a problem with a kid waiting til February to decide, but don't commit if your not committed

I think it gets rid of the attention hogs. These guys seem like serious TIGERS! I am sure it helps the coaches not waste their time with clowns.

Good blend of players and level of current ability.
We got some Juco guys to help out right away.
We got some guys who will play as true freshmen.
And we got some guys who need a year to develop.

So far so good. We need to close out strong. We want to close out with some of the best players for LSU. We don't need any primmadona's that think they are the center of LSU football. We want team players who help each other succeed. I don't care about LSU's overall recruitment ranking.

We have good players right now and think we will end up with 5 more excellent players.

Lol. Life changing? One of the reasons they changed this is because of the drama these kids tried to build...to many this wasn't some life changing event due to the magnitude of the decision, but rather an opportunity to seek and receive attention and act as if they are the greatest recruit that ever lived. MANY of those with that attitude get humbled anyway when the pads go on.

How do you figure? They'll get more attention that ever before now that 75% of classes are filled.

Maybe. They can't fk around though with only a few spots left, even highly rated guys could get left out of a class if they play games. They will still find a home of course.
