How big of a loss is this? Another question, is this actually considered a loss these days when commitments mean very little and kids transfer 3 times before they use up their eligibility?

Can you imagine picking Florida over LSU?
I feel bad for him.

Pretty sure this was expected. I don't really have any negative or positive feelings about this. It's just meh...

Right. I remember getting real excited for signing day back when there was only one, and there was no portal. But I also remember how disappointing it was when certain recruits flipped. It's still fun, but the extra signing day and portal definitely softens the blow IMO

Sticking around, that's a different story. Gives us something else to worry about every year, as the portal gives us something else to look forward to every year. ??

Not a flip when other players we just signed at your position are better than you. Running from competition….

Does not mean that our coaches (aka the professionals) viewed him as a better prospect than the other players that we just signed at his position.

Thats irrelevant. Im not questioning Kiffin's judgement with my response.

Lol... and many "professionals" get fired every coaching cycle because they thought their "view" was right one.
