The kid is not choosing any school for a business decision...he is a business decision. Trolling or not, I sure as hell hope this kid comes here to follow in the footsteps of the legend LF.

Leonard was a first round draft pick before he ever stepped foot on campus. The hype was that his signing was going to help us beat Bama and win the SEC and influence other kids to stay home. I'm not dogging on him in any way. Kids don't play for Individual awards! They want to play for championships first and foremost. That's a TEAM goal. Just because that didn't happen doesn't make his time here a failure like you seem to be implying where I was going with this.
If a kids first choice of attending a college is to win a championship then they have their priorities wrong. Do you think that's Ed olivers choice in going to Houston? Most of these kids go to bama to play for Saban, because he is the best coach in college football. winning a NC is a bonus. LF knows there's only a small difference between the two schools and he would rather represent his state and go up against the best rather than take the easy path which many choose to do. Dylan should realise this too now that we have one of if not the best DC in college football which is why I believe he will end up a tiger.

So Jimmy posts some bullshite tweet trashing the staff and saying the sky is falling, but he wants to be the first to break that Moses is visiting LSU even though the family wanted to keep the pressure off Moses. frick this guy.
This X10. No excuse for pulling this shite.

So you're saying going to Alabama is the easy path
For talent of LF and DM calibre yes it mixed with the level of coaching.

Never said anything about first choice. Houston and LSU are 2 different scenarios. Houston isn't even in a power 5 conference. It's a goal for each team to win championships. Starting with conference championships. They don't go play for the hell of it, they have goals.

quote:Just not true. That's fan talk. HS kids are mostly oblivious about future championships. They care about excitement and the relationships they have with their recruiters.

quote:I thought I saw on here that he and Devin White were having some [sort of] positive Twitter interactions.
Two days ago he posted on twitter 32 days with praying hands. To me that sounds like he is asking for guidance for a tough decision. Now he is coming in for a visit with other early enrolees. That doesn't sound like all in for Alabama to me!
Since he is an EE I'd be worried if this was in the no-contact period that he was trying to "Womack" us (like Hootie tried to do). But being an official, in a contact period (obviously) that's not a concern. So I guess this is a positive.
However, if he visits and we see nothing and then the day after the no-contact period we start seeing twitter and message board posts about him flipping and especially "Moses wants LSU to reach out", alarm bells should go off. Just saying the timing of any positive reaction by Moses should factor in.

Hopefully he sees the writing on the wall with all of bamas lbers depth...granted they have a good track record...but so does lsu...I'm not expecting a flip, but if he does he'll have the same reception as buga...hope buga is in that ear

Aranda is your coach
Would be a superstar at LSU. Still could be at Bama but not likely to be immediately.
