Hm...so does this fill another RB slot?

I seriously doubt he takes one of the RB slots with all the big time prospects out of TX still on LSU's board.

However, if he is taken as RB, Lipscomb/Lacy/York/ C. Michael -- one of them just lost a slot.

I'm reserving judgment until Derby approves.

Very Impressive. Nearly 9 yds/carry also impressive.

Commitments from out of state guys more than 11 months until signing day don't mean that much imho

rivals has him at a 4.48, which likely means in 4 years when he is at the combine he will run a 4.9. For the dense people here, that was sarcasm! GOOD PICKUP!

LSU hasn't had too much trouble keeping out of state recruits once they committed. D. Thomas left b/c we took another QB, then DC Jefferson left b/c we got J. Jefferson. I don't remember really losing many other guy...Shugarts maybe, but i dont remember if he was a commit or not. We may have led with other out of state guys that didn't sign with us, but very few commit and then change their pledge.

You still can't prove this kids UF offer is committable.

and why are we taking undersized running backs from GA this early when there are still guys like Lacy out there? Lacy has that it factor.

this is almost as bad as taking 2 kickers.

For Lacy to get an offer he'd need to actually qualify, and I don't see that happening.

FWIW, UGA guys really wanted this kid. They said their mod has been pimping him hard lately.

The article says he's an "athlete" and he "will hopefully play somewhere on offense, possibly receiver." FWIW

Why so pessimistic?

No one knows if he was taken as a RB or not. If he was taken as a RB, then he must have really impressed the coaches b/c he is competing with some stiff competition for those 2-3 scholarships.

If he is a take as a CB, then he will have a couple years to develop b/c there will be 3 year starters ahead of him.

Guy probably has great athleticism, and Les knows he could turn into a great one in the future.

I know it was sarcasm, but so far UGA guys are acting like he had an offer and is good.

Seriously we start questioning a kid who has offers from the top schools in the SEC, plus Clemson? He will probably draw more offers off his commitment to LSU. C'mon guys

You're an idiot. Really.

At least have some actual substance to your bitching. Lacy probably isn't getting an offer and this kid has offers from top programs.
