I don't know if I would say it's a small group

Trust me, it's a small group, mainly centered around students from the Ruston area. Remember, there are thousands upon thousands of alumni from all over the state. Most of them enjoy LSU football.

I've always rooted for all in state school except tulane. I've been to I'll umm and la tech games with friends who attend those schoOls. At all three places I've cheered and tailgated for there team. At all three places
I had my LSU hat on with there school shirt that I would purchase at there gift shops. Once they found out I was lsu fan they were as rude as you get. At lsu you might get heckled and then invited to have food and drinks. I will still root for the instate schools but never again will I spend my money to go to their games to be treated that way.

Not true. I'm Tech alum and love LSU. "Tech People" are kinda like UlaLa fans. Divided into those who hate LSU because they are jealous and don't know their schools role in the big picture (and unfortunaly overly vocal) and those (like me) who love LSU and still pull for LaTech because there is no conflict of interest. Apples to oranges.

speak for yourself. i am from north louisiana...have tons of friends that went to LaTech - their penisenvy for LSU is sick. for the majority, they live their life to see LSU fail.

2 of them even graduated from Tech, came to law school at LSU - and still hate LSU with all of their heart.

funny really.

I would say that there are more people that graduated from Tech that are LSU fans than Tech fans. Have you been to a Tech game? The stands are more than half empty. I think most people here in North Louisiana would rather stay at home and watch an LSU game on television than go to a Tech game. I am one of them and I graduated from Tech.

Awesome! Congrats on getting an excellent ballplayer from a great HS program.

Porter could start for you guys as a freshman. By his Jr. year, he could be THE star of your D.

I really like this kid. Outstanding pick up for Dooley's Bulldogs.

porter will regret this when dooley bolts in a year or two and he's stuck in that miserable little town on a mediocre team

The only place you can shoot a cannon into the stands and no one gets hurt.
