I like 4 myself. Although 7 would be pretty cool, it seems that lot of pressure comes with that number.

According to Instagram, Devin White is claiming he will be 7. I’d love for this to be true.

Not sure if it's true but on Sports Today they said Stingley had been offered #7 already and turned it down. Again, that's just what they said on the radio. If true then that's a smart move by him, imo. Kid is already highly touted - no reason to add to pressure as a freshman by wearing #7.

IMO I think the fans put more into a number than the players do. Maybe some kids would like to make their own name with their own number.
