You guys sound like complete frickheads, making a thread about a La kid that didn’t even get an offer from LSU. That’s right, do your damn research!! Slade’s a great kid and has never said a single petty word about LSU since he’s been at Bama. LSU was his dream school and didn’t get the chance, Canada messed up the entire recruitment. I realize it’s a unique situation, a La kid at Bama that didn’t get an offer from LSU….but that’s what happened. No reason to keep shitting on him. Don’t kid yourselves. He would have been a fine role
player at LSU, which he’s done a nice job of at Bama.

Yeah, but frick him for going to his "dream school's" rival after he didn't get offered.
He had plenty of other offers to good programs including Arkansas, ULL, La Tech, Ole Miss, TCU, Tenn, etc.

He bitched and complained publicly during high school about LSU not recruiting him for baseball. But mysteriously it was okay that Alabama straight up told him he wouldn't be able to play baseball.
So we were his dream school but we should have recruited him for baseball when he wasn't good enough to play for us just to get a chance for his football services.
