Some interesting stats I found about recruits per state. Pretty cool that Louisiana ranks number 1 in D1 prospects per 100,000 people. Enjoy

Counting players that were successful at the next level per state would be a more interesting stat

supposedly if you just look at ethnicity compared to rate of success in the NFL pacific islanders are the most likely to be NFL players

Polynesian kids are something like 300X more likely to play in the NFL than the average American. It's why Hawaii is #5 and Utah #11 per capita in producing players. Those are the two states with the largest Polynesian communities. Try reading the roster of either team out loud.
