not exactly inside info. the word has been out on Emery for a while. Miss State is way out in front. They're selling him on being their version of Saquon Barkley and THE featured back. Big portion of that staff, including the head coach and OC, were at Penn State the last few years. LSU has a lot of work to do, but they aren't giving up. The situation is not the same as a guy like Chase last year. Even though everyone felt like Chase was looking for a reason to go out of state, the guy was at LSU all the time. Also, Chase's mother was a big influence in wanting him to stay close. Emery has been to LSU a few times, but not nearly as much. His parents are also not hellbent on keeping him within an hour's drive. Tigers have work to do, but aren't going to give up until signing day.

Yes. I'm aware of that. I was speaking to the general perception that there's no way these student athletes can afford a dodge Challenger unless they commit an NCAA violation.

It seems like MSU is out in front. It is surprising that he moved the date back but I think that might just help UGA more than anybody. It doesn’t hurt LSUs chances by any means.
10-11 win season from LSU with some big wins on a national stage will really go a long way in landing some of the big fish that they have left on their board.

How do you know? Because it looks good in an Instagram post? Scroll through the classifieds and you can find cars that look just as good in the $15k range.
My point stands. Those cars are not very expensive. And y'all are dumb (or worse) for assuming that these families can't afford a $250-$400 car note. At the very least, they only have to pay the note until the kid gets to school and starts getting stipend money.

Let's just stop all this right here! It's a known fact that these kids get cars and more! The schools know it, the NCAA knows it and we know it! That's all that matters. Models, cost and all that, does it really matter!
