in the state. You can say what you want about all the great receivers coming out of LA, but this kid is as legit as any of them. I know jarvis is an unbelievable all around football player, but I have seen them both several times and this kid williams is as good as any receiver i have seen out of the state in the past decade, easy. the grade issues will keep him off of major lists like it did dez bryant, but when it is time to strap it on at a D1 level, williams will be explosive.

Those are two completely different issues. Teams weren't sure if Dez would be able to qualify because he had shitty grades. Dhaquille just doesn't have enough credits because he went to a private school. From what I have heard, he is a great student and has been trying his hardest this year to try and figure something out to allow him to get into a college

still will be an issue with the clearing house. i hope it gets worked out. but it appears as of now that he'll be starting in CC. All i am saying is that that situation will not earn him as high of a status with recruiting services as he deserves (which matters none to me). i would imagine him to be one of the top 3 receivers in the nation.

It's not even close. I said this at the end of last season and people crucified me. Sorry I'm not sorry most of this board doesn't have a clue what they're talking about.

He definitely dominated the secondary at cArencro. I got to see that game and cArencro has some pretty good athletes

you guys were right on. i have seen them both play a whole lot and they are both outstanding. But williams' game as a receiver is at a higher level without a doubt.

Guys like him are the reason I wish one of the Louisiana Juco's would start a football program. There's enough Louisiana kids going all over the country to play juco ball to field a team in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Eunice, or even at the one in Lafayette that doesn't have athletics currently. It would give the in-state schools a better option as far as placing kids at Juco where they can keep a closer eye on them.

I've been going to St.amant games every friday night since I graduated in 91 and seen some great players play at the Pit. Many have gone on to the NFL. This kid ranks in my top 3! He is the real deal. Watching the game last night, he looked like a D1 jr playing against high school kids. LSU can't let this guy leave the state.

He's not as good as Randle was, but the kid can ball.

I've recently heard he's bad news and will probably never play college fb. I hope that's not the case because he is talented.

Yes he's the real deal. He's also a thug. LSU should pay another team to take the problem away from them.

i'm not sure he's as tough as randle, but he can go up and get it as good as anyone. always a question following a kid out of east st john.

Randle, Benton, and Buster Davis were better, but he's very good.
