Yes, I agree, however if LSU hasn't offered him by Frb 2014, then they obviously will not offer him at all. Riley was for lack of a better term a fall back option.

Yes, he has some concerns about his grades. But it's not like we never offer or take anyone with grade issues. He's worth an offer. Period. If he doesn't qualify, sign and place him. IMO, hes 1 of the most underrated recruits in the nation.

There is another reason if you look at the math. We took five DE's in the last class. We are trying to get Willis and a few others of high caliber. Willis has already stated that is of concern to him that we have signed so many DE's in front of him. I expect the class of 14 to be very selective on DE's and I believe that is going to be the issue with Godchaux. So he could be a late offer if others pass or camp offer if he really shines out this summer.
