Are they airing the Sparq challenges Thursday or Friday? I didn't watch this last year so I don't even know if will air them.

Yea if he can lose about 10-15 pounds he can probably run a 4.45. He would be a freak at MLB

I'm surprised ESPNU hasn't aired it today. Looks like they'll show the Opening tomorrow at 8 central though.

If he ran a 4.49 at the Sparq combine, at worst he's a 4.55 or 4.56 which is ridiculous for 6'0 259 guy. If he gets down to about 245 with Moffitt, he's going to be a combine 4.4s guy.

The Bus was about 255. That actually is about as close a conparison as you could make. There aren't a whole lot of 260 pound running backs running around. The only other one I could even think of was the Nigerian Nightmare, Christian Okoye

That 4.49 is laser. Freak athlete. If he trimmed up and actually dedicated himself to stretching he'd drop another tenth over a few years IMO.

He seems to have changed his mind a couple times. Either way, our staff will probably let him choose. We are in need at LB and will definitely use him at RB if he wants.
