He'll be a bulldog if Auburn doesn't take him. That is still up in the air because of their confidence with Drew.
The guy from the Mississippi State site im a member of said he thinks its a 90% chance Sigler ends up at State.

If he gets an in-state offer, he stay in-state.

Probably true, but word is that Auburn is full at DE. Plus Sigler likes the idea that we are giving him a shot at LB.

I wasn't talking about Auburn. There's a chance that Alabama would offer as a LB.

If this happens then he could be the first EVER recruit to jump from a 3 star directly to a 5 star after a Bama commit.
And DAMN I should have known
BAMA LOCK

No not mad at all, just laughing at how some of you Bama fans think every recruit in America wants to only go to Bama. FWIW I have yet to even read anything about Bama being interested in Sigler, and he quoted in his article yesterday that LSU hasn't talked to him in months.

He's a kid from Alabama, and more importantly from the Mobile area. UA doesn't miss on those too much, if they are in need. And we're talking abot a kid that would need to develop for a while here. No need to get pissy.

I don't see how Auburn is full at DE.I'm not sure they even have one in this class.I'll have to check. If they are willing to take Drew(I know the diference in rating)because they need a DE then i'd think since he's really the only other one on the board for them that if they miss on Drew they'd likely take him.By the way he just visited Auburn a couple of weeks ago and is going back this weekend so obviously he has a lot of interest in them.If he ends up at MSU then that's good but make no mistake it will be because the instate schools didn't offer him

and Sam Montgomery was a redshirt freshman this year that will likely get a medical redshirt.
No way , started the first 5 games for the Tigers, won't qualify for a medical hardship year.

The reason Montgomery won't get a medical redshirt is because he was redshirted in 2009, his true freshman year. His redshirt is burned.
The only way he gets a medical redshirt and that rarely offered 6th year is if he gets horribly injured again and we don't want that to happen.
However, we play Auburn every year and they will be desperate for a big win in the coming years so it could happen.

We will gladly take him if that is the case.

I think what will happen is the Auburn staff will wait to see who Drew commits to next Fri. If it's not Auburn, they'll let Sigler know he can pull the trigger at that point.

He has a commitable offer from Auburn but there are 2 things that have kept him from committing IMO. We are recruiting him as a DT and he isn't sure he wants to play inside and there is the possibility that he may have to greyshirt.

Are you doing that because you are waiting on Drew? As in, if Drew commits to Georgia, will he be offered as a DE?

Our coaches feel he doesn't have the speed to play DE in our scheme so I don't think Drew has any impact on him at all.

And Montgomery is desperate to hurt some QB's.
I hope that TN lineman wasn't an underclassman
