At least were signing the majority of the LB's from the state.. Really wanted him over granier but he fits there system better

what can you do? some in-state kids just aren't enamored with LSU.

Edited. That was harsh. We need to support our native sons, you're right. I don't think LSU would take him regardless, and I don't feel like we're missing out. We own Bastrop. If he was worthy, he'd come to LSU.

I can't blame the guy. He didn't really start listening to LSU until late because he really wanted to play in a 3-4. Fits him better anyway. Hell be a good one, but wouldn't be as comfortable in our system.

people calling him overrated need to step back a bit. there's a reason why saban wanted this kid so bad, and same goes for Chavis and crew. both saw that this kid would fit well in their systems, and both went hard after DD.
