I agree with you, every good recruiter in the SEC wants this guy.....so it seems ridiculous that had he wanted to come to LSU we wouldn't have given him a committable offer
I know some coaches evaluate talent differently, but shite, CB is a crucial position in our conference, no coach is going to pass on a good corner(yes, im claiming he is good relative to the rest of CBs this year)

Milliner's film is not very impressive. He's living off of a camp measurables day.

I'll still take the word of the majority of successful SEC coaches

You've spoken to all of them? Damn that's some solid information. I guess we should never question another recruit again on this board that has offers from some SEC teams. I mean, it's not like they ever miss on a guy or offer a guy that doesn't amount to anything. Alonzo Lawrence was beaten out by Robby Green for instance.

They offered him didnt they?
I dont need to speak to them to know that they want a kid if they offer him

So what does that have to do with anything? Players are offered all the time by quality teams and don't amount to anything. How many examples in the NFL do I need to give on guys that weren't offered by the big dogs and became stars, or guys that were offered by everyone and didn't?
It's an inexact science. And while having offers from everyone in the SEC certainly bodes well for the odds of success at the next level, it's recruiting and my personal opinion, based on his film, is that the film isn't very good. Go watch it and tell me you think otherwise, it's not impressive. He went to a camp and ran a 4.3 at 6'1" 180 and a 43" vertical. That's why he's five stars along with his offer list. His film isn't good on rivals. Until they update it, my stance will remain.

all im saying is that if a kid gets offered by the coaches millner has been offered by and youre going to tell me the kid is overrated, im going to take my chances siding with the sec coaches over your opinion

Then I suggest you visit another message board where opinions by the posters don't occur. Not sure if that message board exists but I hope you find it.

No, you simply said that you would take the opinions of the SEC coaches that offered him over message board posters. So basically, nobody on this board warrants an opinion if a couple of SEC schools offered someone.
And you mixed up the part where I said he sucked. I never said he sucked and didn't warrant an offer from the SEC schools. I merely pointed out that he's not five star material based on his film. Since when do schools offer based on their recruiting rankings?
You fail.

you said he wasn't that impressive and I said he was simply by basing my opinion on the SEC coaches offering him
which would mean I disagree with you
sorry for not making it stupid clear

Your last sentence doesn't make any sense.
My first statement in this thread was that he wasn't impressive on the film they have of him on rivals and that he was living off of his measurables(which I should have been more specific and stated that I was referring to his five star ranking). I didn't insinuate that he shouldn't have gotten offers, just that his film wasn't five star quality when you look at a guy like Janzen Jackson's film last year, which is about thirty times more impressive than Milliners.
