He is also from Bama.........just because he is a likely commit to them doesn't mean tigerdroppings readers don't want to hear about it........

You can scratch LSU. We never gave him a committable offer.

Really, the #1 player at his respective position in the nation and we don't want his committment?

Grades? or we just didn't waste our time beating down the Bama doors to get to him?

Well, isn't it in the realm of possibility that our coaches don't evaluate players by looking at Rivals?

I know that this is the accepted method of rantards everywhere, but I think our coaches do their own evals, and they may nt agree with the wizards of Rivals (or the equally omnicient guys that pander to their paying customers at other recruiting sites).

Is he really the best player in the country (at his position) because he is ranked as such by a recruiting site?

First, I didn't say he was the best player in the country.......I said he was the #1 rated CB.......

Secondly, he is 6'1" 180 and runs sub 4.4s......

Thirdly, don't you think that Alabama and Nick Saban, who is a respected NFL talent evaluator especially in the defensive department, are dumb?

Lastly, don't you think almost every other school in the SEC that offered him's coaching staff is dumb........

Please man.........spare me.........his offer sheet and measurables are great for his position for an 18 year old..........

I mean I know Miles and LSU can recruit but come on.

So wait you can't get two great players in the same class at the same position?

It is amazing how the Elite coaches and recruiters are seemingly in on every top player in the country.

Tennessee is back on the map in recruiting, simply by hiring O..

I find that pretty remarkable.

Saban? Urban, Carrol? Stoops, Brown? Every single year

I hope he comes to LSU. By the time he gets here Chris Hawkins will have graduated,PP and Brandon Taylor will be juniors so he can come in and be 2nd or 3rd at CB and in 1 or 2 years he could be the starter as a sophmore or junior depends if PP goes to NFL or not.

you're not. At one point it sounded like we might be able to make a tiny bit of smoke and get him into town this summer but it seems like he's just tired of recruiting and wants to shut it down feeling pretty confident in his decision.

Unfortunately for him, committing doesnt mean anything anymore.........coaches will still hound him.

Sure, he has quite the offer sheet, but is not possible that the LSU staff has other prospects ahead of him? Do any of you guys think outside the rivals box?

I know Bama has been pretty high on this guy for a while. I havent heard much about LSU being on him. Can anyone tell me if they're heard much on the LSU-side?
