Despite RP switching late in the process and McCoy never visiting LSU?

Colt never commited.

That was the point.

Nobody offered Pat White a scholly to play QB until west Virginia offered him a chance to play QB. LSU offered him at WR just like all the other schools
Actually Saban wanted PW to play corner.

What about the two linebackers that de-committed on signing day and went to TX A&M back in 2002? Did they become great players?

Colt McCoy was also commited to Texas before RP. Gotta love revisionist history.
I think Parish Cox was the one we really missed out on. I remember thinking it would be a wash with him leaving and Jai switching his commitment from Michigan, but I think Ok State got the better end of the deal. (And I'm a Jai fan)
Pat White was never commited to LSU either. We were the favorite until WVU offered him as a QB.

I remember that Dajleon Farr for the Canes was a one point a commit.

Is it safe to say that the only de-commitment that made a name for himself on the field was Pat White?

sentimore never commited. And now we get to watch him on that bama dline now, tearing it up. I have a feeling we will be kicking ourselves for a couple years.

Colt would have come here. RP and his mom didn't like Saban. Once Saban left Jimbo closed the deal on RP.

Pat White was briefly committed to LSU.
Anybody remember Marcus Tillman, who switched to Ole Miss after being committed to LSU for almost 9 months? He had a decent career.

Not to worry, each year we have 2-3 just like many other colleges.

Would have loved to keep him.

Was London Crawford a decommit or a transfer? He did Ok at Arkansas. Scored the game winning touchdown last year if I recall.

L.Crawford was committed for a while. He has done ok at Arky. Alot of hype built up around him

QB Alex Cate - Oklahoma State - has played the last few games of the season after their starter got hurt; pretty much stinks; glad we don't have him
CB Perrish Cox - Oklahoma State - good corner, better return man - would have been in direct competition with Jai Eugene and Chris Hawkins for last couple of years...might be starting right now.
OT Phil Loadholt - Oklahoma - not really a decommit, but he had a credit not transfer so he went to OU where the credit was accepted - started for two years, played in MNCG with Bradford & Co.
Pratt, busted for drugs.

Archie McDaniel and Nuthra Manning(sp), both did little to nothing.

I would agree that Perrish Cox was one I wish we would have gotten...he was voted 2nd All-America by the Associated Press
