Vernon Davis is another good example. Suck it ear man.

No it's not. Vernon Davis is 6'4" and at the time was in peak physical condition while training daily for 3 months for that drill. Yet he's only a 10th of a second faster than DW is at 17 years old who doesn't even get trained by professionals to run the 40 a certain way. He just goes out there and gets in a "what feels right" 3 point stance and runs hard. It just doesn't add up.

Just imagine what he'll run at the NFL combine. Your head may explode from the statistical improbability.

On the enough to not enough scale, I thought it was enough.

Is it not possible for a 17 year old to be as physically developed as a 21 year old. I do see your point but it's not unbelievable to think that it is possible. Just saying

Nah, that pretty much proves it. I'd love to hear why it doesn't though.

You've proven nothing. You showed what THEY did at a combine, nothing more. That doesn't prove anything about what he is doing now.

So again, you've proven nothing.

White ran a faster 100m at state than Shyeim Carter. Would it be hard to believe a (former) 5 star CB could run a 4.49? Because believe it or not white seems to be a better straight line guy even at his weight

At this same competition last year toliver ran a 4.61 while RBs and linebackers were hitting 4.5s. Doesn't mean those lbs have any business locking up a WR. Good 40 time doesn't always translate to good football player and vice versa, but clearly white excels in a combine setting.

With all do respect those are facts about other people. If he can maybe come up with a published scientific research article proving his numbers are physically impossible then THAT can convince me. But just naming other athletes numbers and saying how good and elite they are and that Devin can't possibly be doing what he is doing because of what other athletes can do isn't going to convince me otherwise.

You know what is a fact. According to the "laser" time DW had he's faster than Kwon Alexander.

There's a fact for ya.

I'm saying his combine time will be slower than the time reported in the OP. I'm not saying he will be a slower player. You do the math

I get ya, but I see him still doing a 4.56 realistically. Which is still crazy. It's not like these are hand times either.

I see what you are saying and I agree somewhat. Kwon is likely faster.

Players times will vary based on site and timing method at all levels. All you can really do is judge players comparatively that tested at the same event. All that matters is D White is fast as hell even at 260.

Even from combine to pro day players see drastic changes in times.
