the aggies really do believe this.
Wait, black kids don't really want to go to a school full of Nazi wannabes that worship Collies a state away thats never a national contender or even in the top 2 schools in their own state? Get outta here, punk!

Mr. Landry sounds like one of "those" dads.

Parents are going to help their kids in this process and try and weed out the bs. Many of these reporters will get on here and twist up comments to get a good story going. People get on here and really believe everything that's wrote inside of these articles. Bourque was offered as wr, then all of a sudden he's the guy at rb they want. If it was your kid would you be worried about the school just saying that and then moves him to wr once he's on campus. Also more bs inside of another article was we'll see how much bourque wants to be an aggie. If he attends the lsu picnic that means he doesn't want to be an aggie.

Ofcourse parents want to help their kids during the process. Some just take it to another level and crave more attention than others, like they're living through the kid.

Brandon Bolden

None of those guys had LSU offers. Wallace was in the year of Doucet, Carter and Hawkins. He signed with Oregon State and then didn't qualify (pretty sure). Ended up at Ole Miss the following year (2005).
Ironically, Wallace turned out to be better pro than any of those guys.
Bolden wasn't offered because we had stacked up on RBs for the previous two years (Williams, Scott, Murphy, Ridley). We just didn't need one.
Bolden had a teammate from Scotlandville, too. Went to Tennessee. Forgot his name.

he and his dad got upset because lsu offered someone else (who plays a different position) before he got an offer?

yeah, he's a pretty good linebacker, but we didn't offer him. I think they also had and o-lineman also go to Tenn.

Yeah, the O-Lineman is Dallas Thomas. I think he started for them last year.

Yes, thank you.

Find out what was said before you guys start believing a Texas a&m message board.

Bolden is good but who can complain with our running backs at this time? I wouldn't have traded him for Ridley and Ridley had better numbers last year. And I sure as hell wouldn't trade him for Spencer Ware.

Ware>Bolden>Ridley
But I agree, I don't think having Bolden would've mattered that much except for the season where we lost both Scott and Williams to injury.

Well considering last year was Ridley's only playing time and put up better numbers than Bolden I disagree. All-SEC performer.
And I believe Ware has more talent than both but he has to do it for an entire season to get placed above all of them, even though I tend to agree with you.

i won't let my kids make any decision without my input. it will ultimatley be there final decision but i would walk through every step with them to help make sure we get rid of the bs as it comes our way. people make choices in life and some of the choices they make won't be the ones we like. it's not my kid and once again some of things told to this young man at certain times just doesn't add up, so his dad is doing the right thing...

You're assuming the parents aren't full of shite themselves. Parents that are overly involved scare me in this process.

when a grown man lies to a kid then the parents step in and make sure that their kid isn't made a fool of just to sign a scholarship.. how do you call that overly involved. you know what i'm an lsu fan big time.. i was upset when the young man commited to texas a&m, but you're acting like this kid has to come to lsu. why in the F are you so concerned and you're not the kids parents.. this is what i mean you can get on here and write what you feel and that's okay by you.. but the parents going through the process with their kid is wrong by you... parents scare you that are overly involved, come on this a decision a young kid is making about the next 4 or 5 years of their life. the only person that seems like they're full of something is you.

Nobody said kids should make decisions without a parent's input.

This is a good point but I'm not sure what it has to do with anything I posted

How do you know it doesn't add up if he isn't your kid?
