Curious to hear if anyone around him thinks he may commit. The kid has been on a steady rise in all the rankings. I could see him being a top 100 guy by the time his senior year is finished. His combo of size and athleticism jumps off his film. I’ve seen Delpit comparisons but he’ll be a lot bigger than Delpit in college. Curtis Taylor seems like a better comp to me.

"Insiders" believe he will eventually. Good offer and Taylor is a better comp than Delpit. More Stevens/Chad Jones than Delpit. Not sure he's the athlete of those guys but that'll show itself. Most believe he's a LB long term. LB group is shaping up nice. S is where we need a stud or 2. Shaping up well there as well if we can close.

I love taking these S/LB hybrid types. You have to have speed and athleticism at LB and it makes your defense more versatile. Just have to also recruit more DBs to ensure you have enough guys on the backend.
But I’m a fan of these hybrids as well as big corners who can rotate back to safety as well. Good for coverage.

I miss having a Chad Jones or Derwin James type of safety roaming the field. Still learning about this kid but those measurables at safety are always fun to watch.

By all accounts, he’s already around 200 lbs as a high school junior. He should easily get to campus around 210-215. A year or two in college will likely get him to 225 or so. He’s got athletic LB written all over him. So does Maurice Williams.

McBryde looking great at WR too makes him even more special. Very good hands and high-pointing the football will make him versatile with cover skills.
