Is about to blow up with this MVP performance in state title game
Was great on D to end the game too
Has played TE, WR, DL, H-back and QB all throughout his high school career

6 catches for 179 yards and TD. Not to mention some huge plays at DL in crunch time. Wouldn’t be surprised if he gets an offer.

I was going to start a thread about him earlier but not because of the championship game.
Just curious as to why he never blew up this recruiting cycle, he looks like a legit TE, not just a big WR like some other TE's. I don't know as much as most of you when it comes to high school football, just follow recruiting and watch highlights, but he looks like he has the size and skills to be a high level TE in college.

Boutte is from Westgate and was at the game. Seems like an opportunity to leverage that tie and possibly add a good recruit and dispel any questions/rumors about Boutte leaving. Let Boutte be his player ambassador along with Howard and/or Nuss.

4-sport athlete. Sam Spiegs writes "He throws a 90 mph fastball + batted .575 in April. He averaged 25 PPG in hoops + scored 17 TD".
