I listen to an interview with Michael Kirschner, Damien Shanklin HS Coach and he said as of right now D. Shank is a healthy 6’5” 250 lbs, wow. And he said the kid committed to LSU without any conversations about NIL deals and has already shut down his recruitment. This is definitely a Brian Kelly kid who focus is on football and not the bag.

Shanklin will make his money at LSU. You just won't hear about it all over social media. From my understanding, Kelly's philosophy is paying to retain players. Shank the shark will be well taken care of in Louisiana.

Well yea, bc the alternative would’ve been to admit that lsu was committing ncaa violations lol

I'm a big fan of Shanklin. Has what it takes to be a 3 down DE. Can stop the run well and rush the passer. I like Shanklin better than Harrold.
