Of course they are. They’re trying to win football games.

Damn, that list makes me remember how wild the '01 class was. Spears, Hill, Wilkerson, Clayton, whitworth, Niswanger, Addai

Might be the most productive class LSU has ever had.

That’s tremendous. The 2025 class has a chance to be a truly special group.

Yes they absolutely are looking at LSU “extra hard” not because of our fans saying anything. They don’t need to say shite. Our stats and success say everything. No matter who our “OC” was at the time, we still produced NFL stud WRs. Tough, all around WRs. It’s LSU not the big name “OC” lol. Terrible argument btw. WRU lol.

You actually made my argument for me. Texas is moving where? To the SEC! Trying to catch up to where LSU has been for decades. We don’t need to drop bags when we manufacture them. Texas is desperate af and it clearly shows. A&M as well. What will these teams do when the money dries up or the adults come clean this up? Even with a monetary advantage, y’all still can’t overcome LSU

Coaches leave, coaches get poached, coaches want to go back home, coaches want to keep proving themselves. The program name and tradition stays. Come up with something better youngster.

Texas does not have this history or recent history. Jamar Chase, Odell Beckham Jr, Justin Jefferson, Malik Nabers, Brian Thomas Jr, DJ Chark, Jarvis Landry, Dwayne Bowe, Brandon Lafell, Michael Clayton, Eric Martin, Wendell Davis and Josh Reed.

All producing at LSU and have or will produce in the NFL at an elite level. There are tons more big names who both produced at LSU on an Elite level but had ok careers in the NFL. Craig Davis, Terrence Tolliver, Early Doucet just to name a few. Most schools can only say the latter. Nothing to do with fans and I don’t even know many fans that say this seriously. I do know for a fact that NFL GMs and coaches look at LSU’s WRs hard AF no matter if they were stars or not. Texas can say the same with their history of QBs and OL but not WR. It is what it is.

I’m a Texas alum but since my kids go to LSU I like them quite a bit as well. If I’m LSU - I hammer the number of LSU WRs in the NFL any time I talk to Dakorien. Sark could counter with the Bama WRs he helped to develop while there, but there is zero comparison between Texas and LSU’s WR history. And having seen this kid plenty in high school, I virtually guarantee he is playing on Sundays and a high NFL draft pick so I doubt that Texas NIL ends up being the difference here. I’ve also heard fellow Longhorns claim they think we can flip him but I don’t see it - he seems to be pretty damn committed to LSU.
