Threw for 380 yards last night vs. Parkway. Both teams were undefeated entering the game and Dak was limited with a hurt knee. Anyone go to the game that can give us a report?

Great game with record crowd at Crownover stadium with about 7000 in attendance.

Dak played with a heavy brace; only rush was on a 1 yd TD. Everything else was in-pocket passing. Limited mobility after a bad knee sprain against Bossier the previous week.

Still looked very good. Haughton finished 10-0 regular season.

Look for Parkways QB next year!!!

Is LSU talking to him at all? I saw in his interview with Fletch that he was pretty set on Moo State

I was at the game as well. Standing room only crowd on both sides, great atmosphere. Parkway had some missed opportunities that would have tied the game, one was an interception that was dropped that would have gone for six as the whole right side of the field was open. The other was a pass on 4th down into the endzone, receiver bobbled and dropped, should've caught it.

Prescott looked pretty sharp other than the missed interception. Two of the TD's he threw were passes into the corner of the endzone from a long way out, not your typical 20 yard corner route, probably about 50 yards or so. Haughton receivers had a nice size advantage over Parkway's DB's and they took advantage of it. Another TD he threw was a long pass to a receiver in stride down the right side, it was pretty good. He looked a ton better than the last time I saw him.

...waiting for 601Dawg to come say how Dak is gonna be the best QB in the SEC. And yet he still thinks he's all MSU and that LSU couldn't do anything to get him

The numbers don't lie. 380 yds passing on a bad knee vs a team who was 9-0. Dak is very talented, and im glad he is a bulldog.

FWIW I have heard Dak is graduating from HS at Christmas and enrolling at State in January so he can go through spring practice and learn our offense.

Dan Mullin was on the Haughton sideline. He looked like an excited kid jumping up and down hugging Haughton coaches when Dak thru a no effort 50yd TD flat footed.

Dak will be on LSU's sideline today. He told Mullen not to worry that he will still be enrolling in DEC.

Dak is the perfect type of QB for Mullen's system, and he's being smart in graduating early. He could step in and take over the starting QB spot with Relf or Russell performing as well as I think Mullen wants. Prescott continues to get even better as the year goes on

Physically Dak looks ready to play, and he is a pretty smart kid as well. I could see him having a small role in the MSU offense next year, but probably not starting. I do think he is a better fit than Tyler Russell, however.

Are you sure that was Mullen? From the highlights the guy had a mustache and didn't look anything like Mullen.

Well, the coach from State that is recruiting Dak was on the sideline, decked out in State gear. I was on the sideline, he is not Mullin.

LSU will end up with at least one QB that is better than Prescott.
