Being an aggie, I understand how these people feel. We can be bitter, and we do think we are the best university (not the case). We are however a very good university. Our graduate and undergraduate are among the best in the nation esp for public schools. Admissions are not an accurate way to gauge a school. We enroll about 14000 students a year, and the dumber ones flunk out. The best way to look at how good a school is is by looking at the rankings of a school on an impartial rating system (newsweek and such) and in most cases(depending on college) it is superior to LSU. Another way to review a college is the success of the graduates (average salary of graduates) and A&M is better there too.

I do not make or enjoy classless jokes about any fan (aggie or otherwise) so the bonfire joke is not funny. That is like joking about katrina and the flooding in NO. Freak accident that caused failure. Katrina was a huge hurricane and was not expected. The wire around bonfire was snapped while put in (which the same thing had been done for 50 years since the new build of bonfire). Joking about people dying is not really funny. Continue to joke about if you wish, but it proves you have no class.

As far as football goes, LSU is by FAR better than A&M is now. Our program has gone into mediocrity. Basketball and track we have the edge in, and in baseball we are about even.

All in all LSU and A&M arent that different. I live in louisiana but still represent A&M.
