Just received this afternoon for LSU from Brian Dohn. This is the kid from Harvard. On his 247 profile it says he recently committed to Auburn, I guess that changed after Gus was fired?

How many years to play?

This must mean Ingram is gone?

Not sure on eligibility. I wouldn’t assume anything on Ingram yet, we just need depth.

Hope he is more ready than Shanahan.

Shanahan got better as the year progressed. Hope he comes back next year. Hope this kid can help us also.

He is better than Shanahan. He will probably be one on done. NFL potential.

Wasn't this Shanahan first year at center? He was a guard and tackle at Harvard i thought. If he doesn't come charles turner is your center, at 270 lbs. Missou was a preview of him at guard what that looked like.
Cushenberry was tossed around against every top team his soph and Jr yr, and even a few like auburn hes sr.
Shanahan had no snap issues, and busted his arse every game. If he doesn't come fill that hole, our oline would have been that much worse.

Agree, LSU threw it I think 420 times and all those throws were from the gun. No snap problems and He got better as year went on. Blocked really well against UF and Ole Miss.
He comes back, goes threw and full strength and conditioning program, he can really be one of the better centers in the SEC next year.

He only has 1 year, unless they give an extra year again
Id count on him for 1 year then the nfl.
He is better than shanahan
Shanahan was a last minute signing

Shanahan definitely improved.
He will be back and will be the starter

You would think having an ex Harvard teammate on the roster not mention the same unit would help influence his decision.

Shanahan held up in sec play

He only has 1 year. He gets the Covid year back.
But, as others have said, he’s a pro and would likely stay only one year regardless.

He actually did, I did not see him ever get pushed way back in the backfield, what impressed me is that he snapped the ball and he can really move his feet and play with leverage so at minimum he did not prevent massive penetration.
How many QB sneaks Did LSU run the last 2 games vs. UF an Ole Miss, that went right behind his rear end from under center, which again, were all clean snaps and he got the necessary push to create space for the sneak.
I don't think LSU ever had a starting 5 that played together more than 2 consecutive games.
