Truly what QB would not want to go here? Everything a QB should want is here (maybe besides coaching) Great WR core, Hopefully above average OL, one of the top defenses in the country. I just don't understand what else these kids see IMO
Over the years, LSU has the negative perception that they cannot develop QBs. These kids hear that from every school recruiting against us.

He will for sure end up being 4 star rated. Probably high 4 Star.

Do you all have a plan in place to get him to 200-215lbs by next June?

Any chance he is an early enrollee?

He will have the ability to be.

247 just put out another article on him with that video

John Garcia of 247 had great things to say not only his physical ability but also his attitude, football IQ and personality.
I’m ready for Ensminger to make a stop by this spring and pull the trigger on an offer.

I'm on board with Quad, we should jump on him sooner rather than later before he starts picking up a bunch of big offers. We need all the QBs we can get.

Man Garcia's article was spot on. I wish everyone could read that one. He nailed it, and I could not be more proud of my godson.

Of course there will be [unwarranted] flack from here if he doesn't commit immediately.
Hopefully Coach Jason preps him to ignore such sentiments. It would be too much to ask for the absence of such things.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- 247Sports was on hand for the first Georgia-Alabama border war 7-on-7 on Saturday and it did not take very long to notice Cornelious Brown.
The Calera (Ala.) rising-senior quarterback stand a long and lean 6-foot-5, 180 pounds but commands the huddle and the direction of the ball on all three planes. In leading the Gas Crew Elite team to the tournament's championship, he displayed a lot of what makes him an FBS college football prospect.
Brown has a plus-arm and trusts it to a large degree, but it doesn't mean he forces the football to his favorite targets. He can navigate the progression and get beyond one or two, even in a setting in which a "sack" is recorded after four seconds. The junior has a compact, classic three-quarter delivery, can fire the football with an above-average release time, plays downhill at his targets and throws a catchable ball. Brown shows good anticipatory ability at all three levels with good power outside the numbers along with enough touch when the situation dictates.
Where I was just as impressed with the No. 6 passer in the Yellowhammer State was the non-physical traits he showed at the most important position in sports. Yes, his decision-making was good on the field but he was head-turning off the field as well. Whether it was his general leadership, as he kept his team even-keel despite the emotions of some chippy situations, or the way he carried himself -- it screamed quarterback. Brown has drawn local comparisons to Cam Newton because of his big smile and upbeat personality, and even on a long, hot day, it never subsided. Nobody in the tournament had more fun, nobody at the tournament enjoyed spending a Saturday at John Carroll Catholic High like he did. It was infectious, part of the reason there is a certain expectation for more scholarship offers to pour in before he settles on a college destination.
Brown holds offers from UAB, Troy, Bowling Green and Eastern Kentucky. LSU has hosted him frequently and is showing considerable interest as is Duke and Rutgers.
