Poor choice of words. I just meant with the season coming to a close around that time he may look for something to fill the gap.

His position is year round. What are you talking about?

That doesn't mean that the Core 6 thing can't be something he does on the side.

**With the season ending he'd have more time is what I'm saying. But I also said I didn't think it'd be JV.

him working for the lsu athletic dept exactly means that core 6 is something he can't do on the side.

I wish that He and Jacob Hester would tag team on it. If we're gonna dream, at least we can dream big.

He had sideline reporter duties last night for TigerVision.

I truly hope LSU is grooming him for an asst. position in the very near future.

Even better if he can take over as O line coach. NFL pedigree, multiple pro bowls. Can prob recruit rings around Stud and he's from here and understands the culture. Stick him on the o line recruits and give him N. LA and let him go to work

I feel kind of dumb for not thinking that myself.

Lol, I mean he's from Leesville. Knows those small NLA towns quite well I imagine and he's played in the NFL as recently as 09. He's also been named to multiple all pro teams. Guy prob still has great ties around here.

Yup, it's going to be terrific for Athletes and also LSU. This company has a great track record, so it kinda shows how much they think of Louisiana and its athletes.

This is something to celebrate from an athletic and economic standpoint.

A lot of excitement in this thread, but are you guys sure this won't just be the football equivalent of Big Leagues or Marucci's?

Even if it is, it's another business moving to the area. And it could potentially get some kids looked at that may not have been otherwise.

I've hear from people that the guy running Core6 down here is not a former football player. Obviously, they will hire former players to coach, but the guy running it did not play football. Regardless, he loves him some LSU. I think the most important part of this being successful here is whether they can get some great coaches. If the guy that runs the local operation can pull that off, it will likely do well.

Apparently, that applies only to the coaches. Look, we will see. I am telling you what I heard from 2 very reliable people involved in it. They have most of the coaches selected, but are still trying to fill some spots.
