I sit on committees with UIL and the folks in charge get passed off when the previous coach signs off when he knows damn well this move was for athletic purposes. The former coach must not want to deal with him anymore

His dad is a coach on the Saints. If he lets another son play for Joe Sloan, then their dad is to blame.

Sloan may not even be calling the plays as OC. If he does, it won’t be his system.

Better yet, make sure they learn there are rules in any society even proclaimed "free" societies. Something parents used to call teaching their kids responsibility and respect for authority. This country needs a good kick back to those times. We've lost our way.
Not to say the Nussmeiers are breaking a rule or not but "want to" doesn't factor into it. What we want is not always what we get. Another lesson learned as a child.

I don't think the OL issue had anything to do with the transfer.

I talked to a couple of the coaches at Marcus (my son’s a senior there). They said he transferred after Denton Ryan’s starting QB transferred to Marcus. Apparently, he’s a highly regarded QB in his own right.
Make of that what you will. I would be surprised if he transferred because of that and wouldn’t want him if that were the case.
Note: I don’t know the kid or his family personally and this is not an attack on them. Just what a couple of coaches told me about the situation

Was Joe Sloan J Daniels Coach? How much did he improve in two years?
Was he Nuss' Coach in 24?
He wasn't Nuss' Dr nor HC.
