If you didn't catch it earlier, Matt interviewed Hurly at the top of the 5 o'clock hour. All I can say is, wow, that kid is impressive as they come. The future of the LSU QB position is in good hands.

Sounds good except the Scona part.

He was very impressive for a 25 year old having just graduated from law school but for a 14,15 year old he was really unbelievable. We are truly getting a smart, mature, athletic, talented, polished quarterback. Wow. Hopefully it will be aired again.

You know... there have been a lot of those, including Howard. I mean, who does a commitment video like Howard did and then leave?

But hopefully Hurley is legit.

Someone said he grew up military. That would explain his discipline and maturity.

He’s got a 4.0 GPA. There’s no doubt in my mind this dude will win a Championship before he graduates.

This kid blows Howard away with his off field interaction with media, and apparent leadership with coaches and recruits. I’m buying what I’m seeing/hearing and if he never sees the field it means we have someone even better!

I never fall in love with a commitment this early. It's a long way and God only knows how many NIL offers till next early signing period. I hope he sticks. I'd love to watch him compete.

Not mobile enough. He fit O’s system but not CBK. As a new HC trying to “build a wall” around the state, CBK went all into get him here. Howard simply doesn’t fit the scheme going forward.

Nuss is a must keep in the event of injury to JD, now.

Howard is plenty mobile and very athletic. He fit BKs system well. Just didn’t want to wait.

His highlights are extremely impressive. Jamarcus esque in how he throws the football. Bright future for that kid, excited to get him on Campus.

He also was able to move up to Senior and essentially just skip his Junior year and get to college a year earlier. I think when it is all said and done. Nuss will start for 2024 and depending on how good 2024 is he either leaves and Hurley starts as a RS-FR or he starts 2025 and Hurley starts as a RS-SOPH and leaves after his RS-JR year.

Future of the LSU QB position is very bright in deed. Not all is lost after Walker leaves. But that is why you have to keep taking players year after year with the expectation you're going to lose every other one.
