There isn't a lot of buzz because we all considered him a lock, but Storm is a huge pick up for us.

He's just the kind of back we need for our style of offense. I really like Dontae Williams, but if we close out this RB class with Storm, Worle, and Seastrunk, It will be an awesome class.

How come no recruiting sites are listing him as an LSU verbal. I thought he commited on Monday night.

Because he announced that his parents wanted him to "make it official" on July 11 when he visits BR...even after he made it official lol

I agree. This kid looks to have a lot of potential. I think ESPN hit the nail on the head in the evaluation: "Underrated prospect if placed in the right system where he will be given the ball."

Having him committed takes a little weight off of the shoulders in that we are looking for two bigtime backs for this class.

now that i've seen some things..i think we don't have anything to worry about w/ storm..though it would be nice to have him as an"official" commit

Flask, just finished talking with a college coach here in Tx. He thinks LSU picked up a very good player in Evan Washington. A few links, two pics playing Basketball.

He also likes the QB, he was telling me about the Lee kid not having a bunch of talent around him. Also, they had a new staff at McKinney.

Welcome Evan! Glad you're a Tiger. Looking forward to seeing you make pancakes with Gators.

Yeah, that's not all that surprising. IMO, he was the best OL that we were on this year. It feels great to pick up a talent like this. He will be a force to be reckoned with for the next few years.

I don't think it's a secret how good Lee is. Even the recruiting sites know it. I've heard that the reason that he is held down in the rankings so much is that he's a big risk to go in the MLB draft. I guess that's the same caliber as not making it to campus because of grades, in their minds.

I hadn't heard the stuff about his team, but that's even more encouraging. Maybe he can put on a show for us this coming season.

We should have enough CB's and Safety's to cover the whole SEC now...
Can't remember a class filling up this fast before or is it just me?

That's the general consensus.

Everyone's theory about us saving room for 2011 is also pretty much shot...
