Born tried to tell us over a year ago.

I know a lot of you guys don't agree with me
but I think LSU should get the best three RB's
possible every year.

I agree with you.
But you're right; there are those that don't agree.

bottom line is the staff messed up by not taking him---i don't care how many stars he had.
This AND Miles blew it with Sentimore too.

Its cool Lache is a lock for us just like we didn't need Bryce Brown either

Those are good numbers for a freshman. He looked good in the Army All-American too so it's about the stars...he stood out against other 5 stars, so he has the talent.

Richardson faced better competition

Richardson >>>>>>> CM.
Richardson faced better talent and still had those kind of numbers as the #2 behind the Heisman Trophy winner. Also, he passed up multiple upperclassman on the depth chart as a true freshman.
TR is a true 5 star talent.

and Reuben Randle and Russel Sheppards numbers make that look like varsity stats hah, he was a top 25 players last year and he's proving it now!!!

I don't think it is fair to say that either Randle or Sheppard had the same opportunity as CM.

A lot of people should know there was a reason OU, UT and LSU did not offer. I think it was because he was a aTm lock all of his life. He was just trying to drum up suspense for his announcement on TV. JMHO, I could be wrong.

CM came to LSU to give his commitment and we turned it down....

Born, are you trying to say that Lache may be in that same mold, subconsciously, and he knew where he wanted to go all along. It was the socks, wasn't it??
Posted on 12/29/09 at 7:27 pm to lynxcat
Did this really happen? I never saw that he tried to commit and that LSU tuned him down posted on this board last year.

A high four star--yes.
A top 25 player nationally--no.

Yes, I can go try to find the articles from last year if you would like

No, I just thought it looked silly when CM more than one hat on the table.

Yes, it was a joke at the time he "announced" his decision. A&M was really his only option.
