We have two spots open currently, and two commitments to fill them. When we got Williams that meant no room for Lockett.
We might take more guys in the spring, and if this team improves and gets to the tournament and doesn't get rocked by the NCAA then we'll do just fine with either the portal or the guys still unsigned.
Either way Lockett had fallen off as a priority. The fact he's going to Boise and not Arkansas or Florida or Georgetown is a good indicator LSU isn't the only program taking a meh attitude toward him.

First inclination is he has a relationship with one of the boise coaches. Sure enough one of the asst’s played with Randy Livingston in the NBDL

He went from a 4-star with offers from Baylor and Kansas to a 3-star headed to Boise, Idaho. Wow!
