I was told he doesn’t have the grades or the act score. Kids a real talent but I think that’s why the juco route was being taken. Coach Johnson must have a plan set in place to get him qualified and on campus.

Nah, I think he was going juco just so he could play a season and go right back to the draft.
I'm also pretty sure Coach wouldn't have taken the step to get him if he couldn't make the grades.

My best friends son plays on the live oak team. I am only telling you what I was told before all this news broke. Again I’m sure there is a plan to get him here and playing but I’m pretty sure it’s gonna take some work.
I watched Priester play a handful of times this year and was impressed, the kid can play for sure

He went completely undrafted. One year at Meridian CC and on to the draft seems like poor strategy.
LSU, it seems is getting a good one, but Smoke225’s post makes a lot more sense.
BTW, if he signed with MCC, how can he now commit to LSU?

He was a Top 200 prospect. Probably didn't get drafted because of signability after a certain round.
