Can someone please enlighten me regarding Demon Clowney

Look... I’m sure ya’ll probably downvote this post to hell but I completely missed what happened to Demon Clowney around signing day. All I know he was committed, I thought he decommitted when he wasn’t a part of the class, then heard a couple of days after signing day we asked him to look around (processed). Was there something else going on? I only ask because he had been showing as a commitment all the way up until signing day...

It's been suspected that he would not sign for a long time. There was talk about his wanting to stay closer to home and not staying in contact with the coaches at times and more recently his lack of continued development since he committed.

End of the day, the staff didn't think he progressed his sr year and with numbers felt Ojulari and Webb were better.

Agree. We really could've loaded up there if we wanted but chose to distribute more equally.

He’s one of those original O haters that have showed up as soon as they saw something they could pounce on to try and knock O down a few pegs. It’s about all they can try to do now. The other non sense they were spewing doesn’t work anymore. People fall for it too. Sad.

Whatever day the staff told him he wasn't getting an LOI to fax in. Go check his interest list of schools at the moment. Not exactly and elite group of programs. I'm sure some others will get involved and I hope so but it doesn't seem to be a loss particularly considering who else we turned away and who we landed.
