That should solve all of our OL problems.

I hope you're counting on the RS freshman on this list to work miracles because the rest of these guys helped comprise of our piece of shite offensive line last year.

obviously you want to be negative about the team and the staff. your question was answered numerous times as we have many good young oline recruits coming up. we also had a big-time jc olineman decommit. I understand your 'want' for more quality oline recruits but we really are thin at rb with murphy (who is questionable with talent and injury issues), ridley and an unproven ford.

LSU fans think they know whats better for the program than the people hired to do that job?

PLUS we have to feel the effect of attrition at OL next year (we didn't this year)

I don't agree with this. Yes we are losing our best starter, but at the same time we are going to go from having only 3 upperclassmen to 5. Hurst and Lonergran also saw some playing time as FR this year.

Captain Obvious would have already said, and probably has said as I type this...

because we need RBs badly and we don't need many OL.

with jones/mccoy/thomas on the roster, we'd have older, more developed players

these losses didn't affect LSU this past year (except possibly LG), but they would be getting significant PT next year

Would they be getting PT next year? Are those guys any better then the guys on the roster who saw PT this year? I can see Jones as a loss that would hurt us next year, but I think Shaw was ahead of him anyways. Thomas and McCoy haven't done anything at the D-I level.

this is stupid. Running backs are some of the most versatile athletes on the team.

LB/WR/PR/KR/RB.

we have plenty of olineman.

HOWEVER, If you would have said DL you would have a better argument.

Isn't funny that these dudes keep forgetting this fact? Supposedly Black was an All-American level player, and we have lost him with the hope that some of these young dudes from our previous unimpressive classes of offensive lineman can step into his shoes. LOL!

At first glance I thought maybe you were either an idiot or just trying to flame in this thread, but now I have figured it out. You have a Typing Exam tomorrow don't you? You should be well polished by the time second period starts bud.

I think I know where enod is coming from. Because the OL was so sucky, we need to throw quantity at the problem. An offense of 10 OL and a QB would surely solve the problem. Or maybe a QB, one RB and nine OL, and then let's see what kind of running game we get.

So which o-linemen would make good receivers?

17 OLs is a good number. 8 tackles and 9 interior for depth purposes. We go up 1 in '11.

How much better would they have done? I think we had great talent on the Line last season. Talent was NOT a problem.

If you remove every OL under 300 lbs, we don't have many.

We have 14 OL and will sign one more this class. We need high impact RB's.
