Can someone explain what's going on with Kansas?

I was away from my computer for a week and come back and find all of this kansas talk..... obviously i missed something! What happened?

Kansas (band) is famous for the song "Dust in the Winds", amongst other rock ballads. Their tour schedule can be found here.
The only other famous Kansas related tidbit is The Wizard of Oz.
Judy Garland (Dorothy) was a drunk and supposedly was molested by the munchkins. Then she preceded to give out BJ's and HJ's to Hollywood for the rest of her career. Sad story.
ETA: Oh, the football team. Tony Hull flexed some muscle at the Kansas admin, recieved a promotion for getting the verbal for kids that
a. Will be signing else where by NSD
b. Weren't going to get offers from LSU.

Tony Hull is in his first season on Kansas head coach David Beaty's staff, serving as running backs coach.
Hull joined the Jayhawk staff from the Louisiana high school ranks, where he most recently served as the head coach and offensive coordinator of Warren Easton High School in New Orleans.
Hull was a two-year starter on the offensive line at Louisiana Lafayette, where he earned a bachelor’s degree...
